Black & White Wedding Day at St Nicholas & The Villa Wrea Green

A totally fabulous wedding darling!!!! Black & White with lots of seasonal flowers, foliages & berries, a plethora of very beautiful people at one of the most gorgeous Churches, St Nicholas and at the fabulously cosy and full of old English charm and character The Villa set in the most perfect English Village Wrea Green, who could ask for more on this seriously sun drenched autumn day!!!
~
Nichola and her Bridesmaids were all getting ready at The Villa when we presented them with their Bridal Bouquets, a heavenly confection in Black & White, I included Amnesia & Akito Roses, Coco Hydrangeas, White Crystal Nerines, Bouvardia, Hyacinths, Phlox, Black Viburnum Berries and white Wax Flower Blossom

Nichola even looked gorgeous with her rollers in and was really delighted with her wedding bouquet
The two little Flower Girls were going to be carrying Magic Wands surrounded by a cluster of glorious fresh flowers and the Bridesmaid's smaller versions of the Bridal Bouquet
Then we went off to St Nicholas to dress the interior and meet the Groom and his party to pin on the Boutonnieres
Two majestic Pedestals framed the ceremony space and fresh posies were on alternate pews

The pedestals were magnificent with fresh Delphinium Elatum and Hydrangeas, the pew end posies included Antirhinnums, Euphorbia Fulgens, Germini, Avalanche Roses, Wax Flower, Hydrangeas and trailing Amaranthus

The pedestal designs were luscious and perfectly made for the space available, there's not a lot of depth here so it's essential that these huge designs are well balanced
Without doubt these "Secret Garden" style urns have massive presence and make the most elegant Church pedestals no matter what the season, in these autumn designs we used some spectacular Monstera, Strelitzia and Lily Leaves to create height and a wonderful backdrop for the lovely Black & White Blooms and Berries, Delphinium Elatum always looks splendid it's striving forms really lifts the design, heavy with delicious double florets the white Hydrangeas create a lovely focal area I love the Amnesia Roses creating a delicate shade between the black of the Viburnum Berries and the white of the Lissianthus.

The Groom's special Amnesia Rose Boutonniere complete with fragrant Rosemary, Albiflora, Viburnum Berry, Wax Flower, Hydrangea & Ivy Leaves

The celebrations moved on to The Villa, we'd moved the Church Pedestals & Pew Ends into their new positions at The Villa
We'd arranged a bespoke selection of table designs to match perfectly with the eclectic decor at The Villa

A Three tier cake stand with small vases/floral cup cakes on each tier

Glass candle sticks dressed with an elegant sphere of fresh Hydrangeas, Lissianthus, Stocks, Roses, Viburnum Berries and foliages

The Horse Shoe shaped top table looked superb dressed with a selection of glass vases filled with posies of fresh flowers sat on mirrors a design we call "Reflections"

Random vases graced the various fireplaces

We loved all of the details

We thoroughly enjoyed creating the flowers for this sumptuous wedding, massive thanks to Nichola & Jeremy for choosing FD Events to create their bridal flowers
