The Full Posting of the Classically Elegant Wedding Day at All Hallows Church Great Mitton & Mitton Hall

Contrary to popular belief I do have a very real passion for all white/ivory flowers. All flowers have pollen at their hearts and all have various shades of green stems consequently by using a selection of different flowers in an all white wedding bouquet design you can still ensure, light and shade and an element of texture, even without foliage and even on a very bright day.

Hayley's bridal bouquet was designed to compliment her "lace vintage" bridal gown, I chose to use some of my most favourite flowers; Fresh fragrant Lily of the Valley, Sweet Peas, White Peonies, Norma Jean Roses and Athena Roses to create the most classically elegant wedding bouquet imaginable.

The Bridesmaid's carried simple elegant and fragrant bouquets of Peonies and Sweet Peas

Hayley loved her wedding bouquet, she was very excited!!!!

The flower Girl's Bouquets were exquisite delicate bouquet's of White Sweet Peas and Lily of the Valley.

We pinned on the lovely Lily of the Valley and fresh Rosemary Boutonniere on the Page Boy's Jacket

All Hallows Church, Great Mitton a splendid Medieval Church, a really superb Church with the most excellent vicar Gill Mack

We arranged a luscious arch of David Austin's Roses Patience, White Hydrangeas, Peonies and a plethora of fragrant herbs and foliages around the front door into Church.

Just inside the doorway small posies decorated the hand rail with out obstructing its use

Then just to the left was this gloriously English style pedestal arrangement of white Delphiniums, Hydrangeas, Larkspur, Dahlias and Green Goddess Arum Lilies.

The Font was elegantly dressed with a garland of fresh Peonies, Hydrangeas, Roses, small size Delphiniums, Blackberries, Dangly Amaranthus, Ivy Trails and then the entire font was surrounded by fresh fragrant Norma Jean Rose Petals.

The Pews on either side had posies of fragrant Stocks, Peonies, Roses, Hydrangeas, Sweet Peas, Hostas and Ivy trails.

The Windowsill's were all dressed with candlelit lanterns set into clouds of Hydrangeas, Roses and Peonies and Sweet Peas.

The Lectern and all of the ledges around the Church had fragrant posies of Sweet Peas, Peonies, Roses and Blackberries, randomly arranged, simply to fill the space with the heavenly scent of fresh English Flowers.

The Altar had a very elegant vertical design sat on the floor just in front, this is where the register will be signed during the ceremony.

We adore this indoor arch, it frames the Bride Groom so perfectly throughout the entire marriage service, we used hundreds of Roses, Peonies, Hydrangeas, Sweet Peas and a fragrant selection of fresh Herbs and foliage's.

The Altar itself had a voluptuous posy of Hydrangeas, Sweet Peas, Rosemary and Peonies, it was placed there to remember very special people who couldn't be there to share this very special day

The very handsome Groom David arrived along with his Best Man, Dad & Ushers, each of them had a boutonierre of Fresh Lily of the Valley, with a sprig of Rosemary, pinned to their very "Sharp" suits.

The Groom's lovely Mum, had her corsage of Roses, Hydrangeas and Phalaenopsis Orchids attached to her handbag.

Rose Petals and lanterns lined the pathway, fragrant, elegant and beautiful

The car arrived bringing the Bridesmaids

There was a huge amount of excitement....

The ceremony was as ever with Gill Mack, personal, considered and very beautiful delivered.

The Register was signed

The left Church privately through the other door whilst the guests left via the front door, we'd dressed the little porch with posies and lanterns

At the front door our team were handing out Fresh fragrant Rose petal confetti

Complete Perfection

A floral arch is just essential I think every bride deserves one!!!

Before when I mentioned how lovely this Bride & Groom are, this is why, they asked if they could go back into Church to see the fabulous flowers because they couldn't take them all in before, this is the sort of thing that warms the cockles of a completely exhausted florists heart.

Fresh Fragrant Rose Petal Confetti, you just can't beat it, nothing in the world smells or feels like it!!!

Then we were all off to the completely fabulous Mitton Hall for the celebrations, the drinks reception was held in the main hall and bars, we'd arranged Martini glasses with cocktails of fresh white blooms on the drinks tables and posies of fresh flowers in platinum coloured vases.

The Banqueting Room looked so magnificent, each place setting had an Avalanche Rose with a sprig of fresh Rosemary laid on each crisp white linen napkin.

The Minstrels gallery had fresh flowers arranged along the length of the bannister

Magnificent Mitton Hall's fireplace dressed with fresh arrangements of Delphiniums, Roses and Hydrangeas, dripping with Ivy & Dangly Amaranthus

The Grand Piano was covered and huge vase of fresh flowers sat proudly on top

We'd used Delphiniums, White Alliums, Norma Jean Roses and Coco Hydrangeas

The Seating Plan

The Quartet were fabulous

Outside on the terrace fresh flowers adorned the drinks tables

The two arch vases in the dining room were filled with fresh flowers, this room was transformed into a casino for the evening.

The Canapes looked delicious and were snapped up by the guests immediately

We used a combination of high and low designs on the dining table, I do love this look as it gives rhythm and texture to a room.

On the higher tables we used our tall silver candlesticks alongside our low silver fruit bowls

The silver fruit bowls were overflowing with Stocks, Peonies, Alchemilla Mollis, Norma Jean, Patience and Avalanche Roses, Hydrangeas, Sweet Peas and Hostas

The Top Table really was a sight to behold full and fabulous, fragrant and fantastic, a huge a quantity of fresh flowers were used but to great effect, along with candles in crystal candlesticks and Rose candles

The tall candlesticks were topped with a plume of English white Delphiniums, Alliums, Roses, Hydrangeas, Peonies and lots more lusciousness.

Dave is the man in charge for Mitton Hall on each wedding day, he is truly fabulous!!!!

The base of each candlestick was dressed with small posies in platinum vases and Rose candles also in platinum

This amazing white chocolate rose cake was by Slattery's and smelled and looked stupendous
