"Breakfast at Tiffany's" Inspired Wedding Day of Stephanie & Andrew at The Great Hall at Mains

Beautiful people deserve beautiful days, it can't always be that way of course but thankfully Easter Sunday couldn't have been more beautiful or more perfect for Stephanie & Andrew!

Today's blog posting is going to be peppered with quotes from "Breakfast at Tiffany's" the inspiration for this wonderful, wonderful wedding day, much of Stephanie and my correspondence and our decisions have not only included but have in fact been directed by "Hollie Golightly"!

So first one, it may have all started like this....

Holly Golightly: I'll tell you one thing, Fred, darling... I'd marry you for your money in a minute. Would you marry me for my money?

Paul Varjak: In a minute.

Holly Golightly: I guess it's pretty lucky neither of us is rich, huh?

The second one in reference to Me, heck it's my blog so why not!...

Holly Golightly: Do you think she's talented, deeply and importantly talented?

Paul Varjak: No. Amusingly and superficially talented, yes. But deeply and importantly, no.

Glorious Peonies, Roses, Sweet Peas, Arabicum, Anemones, Germinis and lots more loveliness in an exquisite wedding bouquet, all finished off with the most fabulous Tiffany coloured brooch

Paul Varjak: So you're getting married, then?

Oh I think she is, in a little over an hour and she loved her gorgeous wedding bouquet...

Holly Golightly: I don't want to own anything until I find a place where me and things go together. I'm not sure where that is but I know what it is like. It's like Tiffany's.
Paul Varjak: Tiffany's? You mean the jewelry store.
Holly Golightly: That's right. I'm just CRAZY about Tiffany's!

I really wanted Stephanie to feel like that about her wedding bouquet and of course Flower Design Events!!!! so when I handed her, her wedding bouquet and saw how thrilled she was it was so exhilarating!!!!

.Paul Varjak: I don't think I've ever drunk champagne before breakfast before. With breakfast on several occasions, but never before, before.

On this particular shot I think we both look like we have!!!

Holly Golightly: "I've got to do something about the way I look, How do I look?"

Paul Varjak: "Very good. I must say, I'm amazed."

Sonara Parker MUA was doing a fabulous job of Stephanie's make up

The lovely and talented Stephanie Ashton of Ashton Photography

And my old friend, yet another Stephanie was doing an amazing job of the hair

Holly Golightly:" Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany's. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there. If I could find a real-life place that'd make me feel like Tiffany's, then - "...

.... I'd get married there and what could be a more magical place than The Great Hall at Mains, nothing bad could ever happen there only good things!!!!

The registrars table to the left of the fire place was dressed with exquisite floral jewels

Sweet Peas, Roses, Pearls, Germini & Crystals

On the right hand registrars table we used mirrored cake stands, crystal shot glasses all filled with delicate posies of Anemones, Sweet Peas and Crystal Blush Calla Lilies

I adore this exquisite little crystal basket filled with fresh flowers and jet beads

On either side of the foot of the aisle we'd arranged these magnificent vases filled with White Delphinium Elatum, White Gladioli, White Peonies and White Hydrangeas, we'd tied black voile around the base of the vase and fixed the bow with a turquoise brooch

The ceiling dressing, chair covers and brooches were all provided by the brilliant Dawn from Creative Cover Hire

The Aisle was lined with lanterns and Rose petals

Paul Varjak:People do fall in love, people do belong to each other, because that's the only chance anybody's got for real happiness." You call yourself a free spirit, a "wild thing," and you're terrified somebody's gonna stick you in a cage. Well baby, you're already in that cage. You built it yourself.

Stephanie made these exquisite Faberge style eggs in the cages to decorate the outside tables, seriously impressive!

The Bar area was dressed with a selection of Martini Glasses in different sizes all filled with fabulous fresh flowers, the world famous TGHM Blackboard is worth a closer look at!!!

The Tiffany inspired gift card box

...and a very beautiful Vanda Orchid Wrist corsage on a diamante bracelet

Andrew the uber handsome Bride Groom, was only a little bit nervous when I pinned on his very special boutonniere of Akito Rose, Champagne Grass and black Germini Centre

Paul Varjak: He's all right, I suppose, if you like dark, handsome, rich-looking men with passionate natures

The Groom's Father having his Rose buttonhole pinned into place

A very elegant lady with a fresh green and ivory wrist corsage we;d made on a black pearl bracelet

The lovely Mel from TGHM Holly Golightly: But just look at the goodies she brought with her.

Holly Golightly: Oh, golly gee!

Oh this was another seriously stunning cake from our friends Joe & Janine from Specialized cakes a serious work of art again inspired by the Tiffany theme!

It takes a huge team of people to turn the Hall around from Ceremony space to Banqueting Hall, Dawn from Creative is working on the Top table, the Twelve Team and the TGHM team on the actual dining tables and our team on moving the flowers into situation the whole change around and set up is done in just under an hour! and it's seriously impressive, a little choreographed if you will!

Absolute perfection and immaculateness exactly what you expect from Twelve!!!

The table number detail was just perfect

The table designs were huge black martini vases filled with Delphinium, Larkspur, Peonies, Hydrangeas and Gerberas with fountains of Palms spilling over the edges

The Top table was a series of floral jewels set out on random sized mirrors with crystals and pearls, Sweet Peas and Roses, Anemones and Lilies all in all very "Breakfast at Tiffany's"

Te Hall looked quite magnificent when it was all completed with tall elegant martini vase designs
