Orchids & Roses Wedding at Langdale Chase on Windermere

Langdale Chase is such a fabulous venue, I am always so excited when I have an opportunity to decorate the Hall & rooms with fresh flowers, Annette & Stephen are such a lovely couple with a gorgeous family that I'd been looking forward to this wedding for months. The exquisite Hall was dressed to impress with a Green Goddess Arums, Green Cymbidium Orchids & Black Baccarra Roses.
I placed a simple swag of fresh flowers at the foot of the stairs attached to the bannister

Fresh Rose Petal Cones

A swag of flowers attached to the coat of arms just softened its masculinity

This is the view from half way up the stairs

THE BRIDAL BOUQUET
The bouquet we created for Annette was in a very natural style with Schwartzwalder Calla Lilies, mini claret Anthuriums, lotus seed pods or poppy seed pods, lime green and claret Cymbidium orchids, rolled dracaena leaves, claret cornus, Black tie Dracena, angiozanthos, flowering eucalyptus, rosemary, black Baccara roses.
The bouquet was finished with loops of claret cornus, claret beads and diamantes with an ivory tulle handle.

The Bridesmaid's Bouquets; A simple combination of Cymbidium Orchids, Schwartwalder Calla Lilies, Lotus Seed Heads, Black Baccara Roses & a touch of Lily of the Valley.

The setting is so beautiful I always love places with bruised & moody skies

The Groom's very special Bouttonniere incorporated a Schwartvalder Calla Lily, a sprig of Rosemary for Remembrance and a loop of crystals taken from his own mothers bridal tiara.

The Bride & Groom & their two sons lit a "Unity Candle" to signify the joining together of their family unit.
Congratulations to Annette & Stephen
The Unity candle design took pride of place in the dining room
Each guest was presented with a fresh flower on their napkin

The tall vases were moved to the dining tables and looked quite magnificent
The Dining Room at Langdale Chase looked very grand
This was a truly fabulous day enjoyed by all
