Katherine & Brian McDougall's Hot Chocolate & Nutmeg Flower Design Wedding

“Hot Chocolate & Nutmeg”
I imagined the day to carry with it a sense of the season, autumn & the renaissance it brings is exciting & exhilarating, vivid natural jewel tones alongside muted soft gentle shades create a feeling of true romance.

Katherine and Bethany try out their bouquets, the familiy home was a hive of activity, with fabulous hair dressers and beauty therapists...

I pinned on Dad's Bouttoniere
Then to St Annes Parish Church to dress the Pews with Chocco Anthuriums, Cinnamon Cymbidium Orchids and a selection of Autumnal nuts and berries.

The Pedestals need to be tall, this is a huge Church so I always concentrate my efforts down the central ine, where all the action is to take place.
I included Leonidas Roses, Gingerbread Germinis and Orchids

Jason had a little accident and needed serious attention from the lovely Church Ladies, plasters were administered and all was well.

I used our fabulous Lantern Trees on either side of the front door

This is the lovely Pat, she always looks after us when we're at St Annes Parish Church
I re-arranged the boys ties

And how gorgeous do they look? Brian wore a Cymbidium Orchid Bouttoniere

The Ushers wore Vendella Roses and Hypericum in their Buttonholes.
The Photographer for the day was the very gentlmanley Brian Jones Photographer

The Bridesmaid's Bouquets included Leonidas Roses, Eucalyptus, Hypericum Berry, Albiflora Bruneii and Skimmia
Lindsay looks so gorgeous, the perfect Maid of Honour
Bethany looking quite fabulous too
Jade & Erin complete a stunning quartet of Bridesmaids
Katherine & her Dad Phil arrive in style and are dropped off at the door
Katherine's Bouquet was in a “Flower Design” hand tied style with Quicksand Roses, Metalina Roses, Hypnose, Leonidas, Viburnum, Tinnus Berry, Skimmia Berry and Cinnamon Brown Cymbidium & Scorpion Orchids
Katherine is the most beautiful bride
This is my favourite photograph of the day
Joseph led the way beautifully

Father Stephen delivered a lovely service

Huge congratulations from all the team at Flower Design
Then off to The Grand to commence festivities
We arranged tall elegant designs on table stands with tiny fairy lights
The two pedestals from church framed the top table
The top table design was utterly luscious overflowing with orchids
The cake looked delicious
We had such a lovely day, the weather was perfect, the Bride & Groom were simply gorgeous, so many thanks to them for choosing Flower Design to be part of their Big Day!
